Louise Nevelson: Dawn to Dusk is one of the most comprehensive exhibitions of the artist’s work in the United States. Featuring more than fifty works, the exhibition traces Nevelson’s artistic evolution, from her early figurative paintings to her iconic abstract wood constructions, collages, and handcrafted jewelry. Originally organized by the Farnsworth Art Museum in Rockland, Maine, the exhibition reflects the full arc of Nevelson’s career and her enduring legacy as a pioneering sculptor of international renown.

The Frost Art Museum’s collection includes several works by Nevelson, including painted wood assemblages and collages, all of which will be featured in the exhibition.

The exhibition is supported by the Miami-Dade County Department of Cultural Affairs and the Cultural Affairs Council, the Miami-Dade County Mayor and Board of County Commissioners; and the Members of the Patricia and Phillip Frost Art Museum. Generous support for this project provided by Art Bridges.
