The Academy
FIU Academy of Portrait & Figurative Art Exhibition
The Academy presents work by students and alumni from FIU’s Academy of Portrait & Figurative Art, spanning the program’s first eight years. Established by Professor David Y. Chang as an atelier-based program within a public university, the Academy centers sustained studio practice, close observation, and classical approaches to figurative painting.
