Part Two of MOVE - Communal Improvisation Workshop brings composer Diego Melgar together with guest artist Smita Sen for a collaborative workshop rooted in movement and music. Participants will explore memory, connection, and personal expression through shared, embodied practice.

Sen draws on her background in dance, sculpture, and advanced technology to investigate how the body becomes a living document, holding tension, movement patterns, and emotion over a lifetime. Her work also reflects on the ways the body transforms through grief, care, and interdependence, combining performance, visual practice, and embodied research to illuminate the intimate connections between memory, the body, and personal experience.

Funding for this initiative is provided by Art Bridges Access for All program.
