Join us in celebrating the creative legacy of David C. Driskell (1931–2020), a renowned artist, educator, curator, and scholar. Opening February 21, David C. Driskell & Friends: Creativity, Collaboration, and Friendship considers the role of collaborative exchange as forces in African American art. Bringing together works by Driskell alonside those of Romare Bearden, Elizabeth Catlett, Aaron Douglas, Loïs Mailou Jones, Jacob Lawrence, Alma Thomas, Kara Walker, and others, Driskell & Friends traces the generational reach of artistic community and shared vision.

Enjoy live music by Black Nimbus, a Miami-based creative collective performing a vibrant fusion of jazz from 1PM-3PM.
