AN INTERACTIVE EXPERIENCE WITH CLONE DAHLIA.
Join us for a unique interactive experience featuring Dahlia Dreszer, a multidisciplinary artist from Panamá. Dahlia works across photography, installation, and fiber arts, focusing on themes such as cultural identity, memory, and the shifting concept of home within the diasporic experience. Her community-oriented, research-driven practice involves creating intricate installations that incorporate rescued flowers, heirlooms, textiles, and folk art. Through her use of vibrant colors and patterns, she blurs the line between reality and artifice, inviting viewers to navigate the interplay between domestic interiors and other realms.
Based in Miami, Dreszer holds a degree in Media and Photography from Emory University. Her practice is informed by her Latin American and Jewish heritage. Her solo exhibition Bringing the Outside In debuted at Green Space Miami, and her AI project Clone Dahlia was recently featured in TIME magazine.
Enjoy a complimentary beverage from La Tropical. This event is made possible by the generous support provided by Art Bridges Foundation's Access for All program.
