Please join us for an opening reception and panel discussion exploring themes from the exhibition Kacey Jeffers: Multitudes. On view through May 4, 2024, Multitudes features photographs of communities and people on the Caribbean island of Nevis, Jeffers’ native country, prompting contemplation of the humanity that populates islands often thought of as tourist destinations.

The discussion will feature the artist, Kacey Jeffers, who will explore themes from his recent exhibition in conversation with Frost Art Museum assistant curator Yady Rivero.

This exhibition and discussion are part of the annual Martin Luther King, Jr., Exhibition Series at the Frost Art Museum. Funding was provided by the Dorothea and Steven Green Endowment, FIU's African and African Diaspora Studies program at the Steven J. Green School of International & Public Affairs, and FIU's College of Communication, Architecture + The Arts (CARTA).
