Join us for our annual Slow Art Day! Please visit the museum for a day of reflection and close-looking. Jennifer Mendoza from Maya’s Healing Place will conduct a yoga and mindfulness session. Please note to bring your own yoga mats for the session. Lark Keeler will lead us through an exercise inspired by the museum’s installation, Tesoro: Pepe Mar’s Love Letter to the Frost. Based on the practice of loving-kindness or metta, attendees will create a collage that expands the concept of love starting with yourself and extending to the entire universe.
