Join FIU’s 3 museums as we dive into our collections to find pieces that share a common theme. With us, you’ll explore what we each find, think about how they relate to our lives today, and then work on a craft to make a collection piece of your own, inspired by our theme: Traditions.
Traditions can be activities or objects passed down from generation to generation. They can also be created among friends and family – making a wish when you blow out the candles on a birthday cake, reading a book before bed, zooming with a loved one who lives far away... New or old, they are all just as special. In this edition of 3 x 3 x 3, we’ll be using colorful craft paper and pipe cleaners to create a flipbook.
This program is presented by the Frost Art Museum FIU, the Jewish Museum of Florida-FIU, and The Wolfsonian-FIU.
