Haven't seen In the Mind's Eye: Landscapes of Cuba? Join us for a special tour on closing weekend. Led by Amy Galpin and Rozzmery Palenzuela Vicente Ph.D. Candidate, Department of History, FIU, this tour offers an in-depth experience of the exhibition. 

Rozzmery Palenzuela Vicente is a PhD Candidate in the History department at Florida International University. Her dissertation examines the politics of identity, belonging and exile in Cuban diasporic communities in Tampa and Miami. Her broader research interests lie in histories of gender, family, and race in Cuba, the U.S. and the Global Left. For the 2022-2023 AY she will be working as a Pre-Doc for the Wolfsonian Public Humanities Lab and is an active contributor to New Books Network podcast channel in History.
