Join our curator Amy Galpin for a special tour with José Carlos Diaz, Chief Curator at The Andy Warhol Museum. Diaz will offer insights into the Andy Warhol work, Are You “Different?” (Positive), 1985, synthetic polymer and silkscreen ink on canvas, currently on loan from the Parker Foundation. The tour will cover Pepe Mar's Tesoro and other featured loans by Mike Kelley and David Hockney.

José Carlos Diaz is the Chief Curator at The Andy Warhol Museum. There he has curated Farhad Moshiri: Go West;Andy Warhol: Revelation; Fantasy America; and Becoming Andy Warhol currently on view at the Ullens Center for Contemporary Art in China. He serves on the Board of Trustees for the Association of Art Museum Curators and was a 2018 fellow at the Center for Curatorial Leadership (CCL). Diaz received a MA in Cultural History from the University of Liverpool and a BA in Art History from San Francisco State University.

Following the tour, attendees can enjoy coffee and pastelitos on the museum's patio. This event is free and open to the public. No need to register, just drop in.
