Join Frost staff members for a studio tour, art activity, and chat with Morel Doucet. Doucet is currently featured in our exhibition Transitional Nature. He will share with us some of his new work followed by an art activity.

For the art activity, gather watercolor or acrylic paint, brushes, heavy paper, and some fresh leaves (pliable, not brittle).

Morel Doucet is a Miami-based multidisciplinary artist and arts educator that hails from Haiti. He employs ceramics, illustrations, and prints to examine the realities of climate- gentrification, migration, and displacement within the Black diaspora communities. Through contemporary reconfiguration, his work catalogs a powerful record of environmental decay at the intersection of economic inequity, the commodification of industry, personal labor, and race.
