We regret to inform you that the Benefactor Impact event honoring Dorothea Green, scheduled for March 14, has been postponed.
The decision has been made out of an abundance of caution and for the well-being of the whole community, in accordance with CDC recommendations for social distancing as the number of cases of coronavirus continues to grow.
The Patricia & Phillip Frost Art Museum and FIU Foundation are grateful for your continued support of the museum and our FIU. A new date for the Benefactor Impact event is forthcoming, and we look forward to celebrating with you in the future.
Our team will be in contact with you to share more information as it becomes available.
The fourth annual ARTransforms Benefactor IMPACT event will be held on Saturday, March 14, 2020 at the Patricia & Phillip Frost Art Museum FIU. This exclusive event was created to bring together Miami’s leading art patrons and cultural leaders in the spirit of philanthropy, to recognize an outstanding community leader who has made a profound impact on the arts at FIU and in Miami, and to thank Benefactor members who enable the Patricia & Phillip Frost Art Museum FIU to flourish.
During the event, guests are encouraged to explore the three floors of gallery space to experience the museum’s growing collection of art and peek into our vibrant history. As the name of the event suggests, we believe that art transforms lives. Our impact can be felt throughout the FIU campus, the greater Miami community and beyond, serving students, faculty, Miami-Dade citizens and the international art world. The ARTransforms Benefactor IMPACT provides the occasion to articulate the Museum’s key role in bringing world-class exhibitions to Miami, enhancing educational art offerings across all age groups and to applaud the members and supporters who make this lasting impact possible.
