MakerSPACE Workshops expand on themes from exhibitions and are designed to encourage participants to explore new concepts and ideas guided by art professionals.

In this workshop, participants will explore two types of painting techniques by using unconventional tools to pour paint and create unique patterns and designs inspired by the exhibition Cut: Abstraction in the United States from the 1970s to the Present. This exhibition explores a multigenerational group of artists who challenged painting surfaces with cuts, carvings, and indentions.

Members of the museum get discounted admission to special events! Not a member? Click here to join today and gain access to this exclusive perk.

Space is limited to 30 participants. Ticket registration closes 3 days prior to the date of the event. No refunds.
