Dive into our next Mixtape Monday with Dr. Evelyn Gaiser, Professor and George M. Barley Jr. Endowed Chair in Everglades Research! Dr. Gaiser, an aquatic ecologist, studies the long-term change of lakes and wetlands. A classically trained musician, Gaiser recently translated high-frequency lake data to musical compositions in order to better understand and describe changes. Her mission is to promote public awareness, educate local, national, and international communities, disseminate research findings on environmental issues, and provide leadership for a sustainable future.
