In anticipation of our upcoming exhibition, The Art Of Video Games, the Patricia & Phillip Frost Art Museum FIU will be screening Tron. The 1982 classic sci-fi film, in which computer hacker, Kevin Flynn, is transported to a digital world where he must compete in dangerous games in order to escape. Bring your blankets, chairs and snacks, and join us for the movie!

Before the movie, you’re invited for a sneak preview of The Art of Video Games. Galleries will be open from 6–7 pm. Play the consoles, take in the games, then come back for our official opening on Saturday, January 23.

Visitors to the sneak preview will have the opportunity to put their names in a drawing for tokens generously donated by Arcade Odyssey! 2 winners will receive 50 tokens. We’ll announce the winners before the start of the movie, you must be present to win.

Bring your family and friends! This showing is free and open to the public. RSVPs are appreciated. For more information or to RSVP, contact artinfo@fiu.edu or 305.348.2890.
