Kenneth Silver, Professor of Modern Art at New York University, Adjunct Curator of Art at the Bruce Museum and curator of Walls of Color: The Murals of Hans Hofmann, will reveal the various paths that led Hofmann from easel painting to mural design and back to easel painting again, resulting in the extraordinary late flowering of his art.
