Slow Art Day is a global movement with one mission: Encourage participants to discover for themselves the joys of looking at art. One day each year people all over the world visit local museums and galleries to look at art slowly. Why slow? When people look slowly at a piece of art they make discoveries. The most important discovery you make is what you can learn just by looking.

Join us for a virtual guided meditation led by FIU CAPS, Health Educator, Victoria  R. Gonzalez, yoga with Krysten Medina and a close-looking art exercise. Click here to learn more.

Slow Art Day at the Frost Art Museum FIU is in memory of Helena Venero.
