Accessibility

Request Accommodation

The Frost Art Museum welcomes all guests to the museum and wants to make sure you have an enjoyable visit. Special accommodations may be requested in advance of a visit and museum staff will make every reasonable effort to accommodate. Accommodations can include large print guides, closed captioning, and sign language.

Should you need an ADA accommodation to participate in an event or to request materials in an accessible format, please contact FIU’s Office of Civil Rights Compliance and Accessibility (CRCA) at 305-348-2785 or ocrca@fiu.edu. All requests for ADA accommodation or accessible materials must be submitted to CRCA at least two weeks prior to the event or at the earliest possible opportunity.

Wheelchairs

The museum was built in 2008 and is fully wheelchair accessible. We offer free wheelchairs for use in the museum. Please note that due to social distancing, only one person may use the elevator at a time. Family/friend units may ride together.

Service Animals

Service animals are welcome inside the museum. Pets and companion animals are not allowed inside the museum.
