Docents and Volunteers

If you love art, enjoy working with people–or both–this is the perfect opportunity to become a volunteer at the Frost Art Museum, one of Miami’s key cultural institutions located on the main campus of Florida international University.

As docents or volunteers you will enable the museum to engage our diverse visitors in enriching programs that create memorable learning experiences and welcome many visitors from around the world to our exciting events.

Unique artful experiences  are available including visits to other museums, sneak peeks and behind-the-scenes looks, as well as one-on-one conversations with artists, curators and scholars.

The Frost welcomes high school students seeking community service hours to university level students who are friendly, kind, helpful, empathetic, patient, respectful, service–oriented, and want to learn more about art and museum work.
