Spanish artists Esther Villalobos and Mar Solís interpret, through photography and sculpture, "a journey into the unknown" inspired by José Saramago's book The Tale of the Unknown Island.

In the book, a protagonist attempts to look for an unknown island that nobody believes exists, only to find "meaning" much closer than he ever thought. In the exhibition the artists seek to engage in Saramago's literary symbolism, visually exploring the themes of memory and dreams, roots and growth, death and notions of renewal, from the perspectives of their own work.
