Join us for a lecture with photographer Edward West prior to the opening for Casting Shadows: Photographs by Edward West. West traveled to South Africa in the early 1990s after apartheid was abolished. He visited the country's communities of color—townships and squatter camps—places outside and invisible to urban centers, where South Africans of color had been forced to live.
